I’ve been a fan of Achim (Hans-Joachim Roedelius) since I read Krautrock by Julian Cope and decided I needed to look further than Kraftwerk and Eno. My favourite Cluster tracks are almost always Achim’s.

Tim and Achim’s first collaboration – Lunz (also for sale here) is fantastic, this might be even better. It’s hard to say and I’m not a list maker. They are both wonderful. And Tim’s contributions are not to be underestimated. I think after all these years and all those collaborations he has proved to be Achim’s best partner. While I may have a critical ear, I’m not a critic, so -
