I’ve been a fan of Achim (Hans-Joachim Roedelius) since I read Krautrock by Julian Cope and decided I needed to look further than Kraftwerk and Eno. My favourite Cluster tracks are almost always Achim’s.

This double CD contains the original ‘Lunz’ album for 2002 which was my favourite of that year and some how got me involved with the subsequent ‘Reinterpretations’ which is the second disc in this set – it is made up of remixes and remakes. My track was made with Tim Story – I submitted a lyric and some vocal tracks, and a few ideas of how they might work, and Tim made them work far better than I could have imagined. This may be the only track where my voice is put through a vocoder.
